Masterson’s Pub , located in the heart of Moonee Ponds , promotes itself as a chic “hipster” locale , but my latest trip at this establishment quickly devolved into an unforgettable, terrible experience. While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I discovered behind its doors was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

From the moment I entered , it was evident that upkeep was not a priority at Masterson’s . The surfaces were tacky , and a nauseating aroma of decaying beverages and neglected washrooms suffused the entire establishment . Emitting a scent of a mixture of ammonia , a rotting odor and a sickly smell. As I asked around, I was stunned to find allegations against him involving sexual harassment , with multiple women reporting website interactions of distributing inappropriate messages . Described as disturbingly assertive and violating, Cornwell’s misconduct has created an unsafe environment for women who visit Masterson’s.
